This elegant beauty was hand-dyed using gold and purple alter-ego silk dyes. The alter-ego dyes leave two beautiful effects, a shiny gold effect on the paisley (viscose and fringe); and a purple muted effect on the silk backing. After dyeing, the scarf was steamed for several hours, hand washed/rinsed with fabric softener, hung dry, and ironed.

Care Instructions: Some silk dye run-off may occur during initial washings. Hand-wash, separately, with cold water and mild detergent. Add fabric softener when washing and/or rinsing. Gently wring and hang to dry. Use a wide tooth comb, and gently comb the fringe to remove tangles, after drying. Use a hand-held steamer, or gently iron on a silk setting/wrong side to remove wrinkles. Store in mesh or cloth bag, or hand on velvet hanger. Because the scarf is hand-dyed some variations in color may be seen.
